Frequently Asked Questions

What areas can be resurfaced by Resurfacing Cairns?

In the bathroom we can resurface:

  • bath tubs & shower trays
  • splash back tiles, wall tiles
  • vanity bench top (28 different stone look colours)
  • vanity basin
  • vanity cupboard doors & fixed panels
In the kitchen we can resurface:

Virtually any hard surface in your kitchen, bathroom or laundry can be resurfaced. We can even do commercial premises, motels, resorts, B&B?s, commercial kitchens, hair salons, retail counters and the list goes on.

What are the benefits of resurfacing?

  • Affordable – up to 70% cheaper than traditional replacement renovation
  • Fast – days, not weeks or months compared to renovating
  • Virtually mess-free because we are not demolishing and we seal off the area
  • Better for the environment – no construction waste going into landfill
  • Durable – Guaranteed for 5 years

How long will the process take?

Resurfacing a bathroom can be as fast as 24 hours and a kitchen might take 3-4 days. However, all timeframes are dependant on the size of the job and the condition of the surface. Compare this to the weeks or months of planning, renovating and dealing with multiple tradesmen when demolishing and replacing.

What finishes can I choose from?

For tiled walls, cabinets and bath tubs you can choose any colour in the Dulux range.

For bench tops you can't go past a selection from the 28 different stone look colours available from the Flintstone II colour range with the following finishes:

  • High Gloss
  • Low Gloss Satin
  • Ultra Low Gloss Matte

In the bathroom or laundry, white is the most popular, but far from the only choice

Do you guarantee your work?

Resurfacing coats and seals existing grout, virtually eliminating the build up of mould in the grout lines. Our resurfacing is so durable, we guarantee it for 5 years against pealing.
